1. Who we are & scope

This Privacy Policy explains how Parclines LLC (“Parclines,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use parclines.com and our related tools and services (the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to this policy. It should be read together with our Terms of Service.

2. Information you provide

• Account & contact details — your email address when you create an account, join the waitlist, or contact us. We use passwordless (email-link) sign-in, so we do not store a password for you.
• Vehicle & research inputs — the cars, trims, listings, and details you search, the asking-price listings you paste into Price Check, and the year/condition inputs you provide to position a value.
• Vault & documents — any build records, receipts, or documents you choose to store in your Vault.
• Contributions — data corrections or additions you submit, along with the source you provide.
• Communications — messages you send us.

3. Information collected automatically

• Usage & analytics — events about how the Service is used (for example, searches run and pages viewed), to understand and improve the product.
• Device & connection — browser type, device, and approximate location derived from your IP address.
• Cookies & local storage — small amounts of data stored in your browser to keep you signed in and remember preferences (for example, a filter or a dismissed banner).

4. Payments

Payments are processed by our third-party processor, Stripe. Stripe collects and handles your payment-card details under its own privacy policy; we do not receive or store full card numbers. We receive limited transaction information (such as that a payment succeeded and the amount) to fulfil your purchase.

5. How we use information

• to provide the Service — identify vehicles, position values, generate reports, and maintain your account and Vault;
• to process payments and deliver what you purchase;
• to improve and develop the Service, including our data and methodology, using aggregated or de-identified usage;
• to communicate with you about the Service and, where you’ve opted in, product updates;
• to maintain security, prevent fraud and abuse, and enforce our Terms; and
• to comply with legal obligations.

6. Analytics & cookies

We use privacy-conscious product analytics (via our hosting provider, Vercel) to measure how the Service is used, and your browser’s local storage for sign-in and preferences. We do not use third-party cross-site advertising trackers. You can opt out of our product analytics by appending “?analytics=off” to a Parclines URL, and you can clear or block cookies in your browser settings (some features may not work without them).

7. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only:

• with service providers who operate the Service on our behalf — including hosting and database (Vercel, Supabase), payment processing (Stripe), and email delivery (Resend) — bound to use it only for that purpose;
• to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, or protect the rights, safety, and security of Parclines, our users, and the public; and
• in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case we will notify you of any material change to this policy.

Verified, non-personal facts you contribute to the catalog (for example, a corrected production figure) may be included in the Parclines database; this does not include your identity.

8. Data retention

We keep personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, and thereafter as needed to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You can ask us to delete your account and associated personal information at any time.

9. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Keep your sign-in email secure and tell us promptly of any suspected unauthorized access.

10. Your choices & rights

You can access or update your account information, opt out of marketing emails via the unsubscribe link or by emailing us, and opt out of product analytics as described above. Depending on where you live (for example, California or other states with privacy laws), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of your personal information, and to not be discriminated against for exercising them. 11. Children

The Service is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

12. Where we operate

Parclines is based in the United States and the Service is operated there. If you access it from outside the United States, you understand that your information will be processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your location.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
