Early low-cost fiberglass body
Fiberglass freed the small builder — and in 1950s America dozens of them bodied cars from bought, borrowed and copied molds. The same shell was sold under a dozen marques, so a car's real identity often isn't its badge but its mold lineage — an authenticity axis no VIN registry captures. This is the first tranche: the near-lost 1950s American fiberglass specials, documented by the molds that made them.
Provenance and identity only — a registry entry never sets a value (the value of record lives in the marque's own catalog page). These specials are honestly flagged as unpriced pending research. Where an owner, club, or specialist contributes survivor or documentation records, we credit the source.
Where a mold was sold, absorbed or copied, its descendants share a bloodline.
